My mother’s name is Gertrude, but she was known by many as GG. She was a wild and funny Italian lady who didn’t let tough times ruin the day. She never met a stranger and made sure she brightened their day with laughter.
I never quite understood how she got the name Gertrude which is not Italian like the rest of her family. Perhaps her mother knew she would not lead an ordinary life. In her honor, my job will be to throw some laughter into my blog. I will pass on a variety of tips on different subjects that entertain. I promise not to post more than twice a month and will mostly post once a month. Unless, of course, the giggles show up and need to be shared.
